After you've placed your order, we may be in touch to request your pupillary distance (PD). Your PD is the distance in millimetres between your pupils, which helps us centre the lenses correctly in your frames.
If your optometrist didn’t include this on your prescription, don’t worry – we have our own remote measurement tools. Or, depending on your prescription, we may be able to use our standard PD.

HOW DO I ORDER MULTIPLE PAIRS WITH DIFFERENT PRESCRIPTIONS?If you want to purchase several pairs (say, one for distance and one for reading, or one for you and one for your beloved) we recommend you place separate orders. Shipping is free for the UK and most other countries, so you won’t be charged extra. For international destinations which don’t qualify for free shipping, please contact us and we'll gladly take care of your order separately.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?Shipping to the UK is free. For orders above $50/€50, shipping to the US and Europe is also free. A $20 shipping fee applies to all other countries at checkout.
DOES MY ORDER INCLUDE CUSTOMS AND IMPORT DUTIES FOR DELIVERIES OUTSIDE THE UK?If your order is being delivered to a country outside the UK, you may be charged duties and taxes directly by the shipping provider when your order is delivered. The cost depends on the customs and import policy of the destination country and these can vary widely.
You are liable for any unpaid customs charges. Return shipping and customs fees will be deducted from any refund due.

We have a 30-day, hassle-free return or exchange policy. If you aren’t totally satisfied with your purchase, we’re happy to refund in full or exchange any item within 30 days of receipt. Also, all our frames and lenses have a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee. So we'll gladly replace your lenses or frames for free within 2 years of purchase if they are found to have a manufacturing defect. Accidental damage and general wear and tear are not covered by this guarantee.
Return shipping is always free within the UK. If you’re sending from anywhere else, you can choose your preferred courier service as you are responsible for any return shipping fees.

CAN I GET A LENS REPLACEMENT?Of course! If your bloobloom lenses get damaged within the first 2 years due to a manufacturing defect, we’ll replace them for free. If your 2-year guarantee has expired, does not apply, or if your prescription has changed, we can replace your lenses starting from $50.

CAN I USE MY CONTACT LENS PRESCRIPTION?We’re afraid not. Contact lenses are in contact with the eye, whereas spectacles sit further away, so the prescription may be different.

DO YOU OFFER VARIFOCAL LENSES?We offer varifocal glasses starting at $199 and varifocal sunglasses starting at $229. Adapting to varifocal lenses quickly and easily is important. Our Wideview Comfort varifocal lenses offer sharp, natural vision and instant visual comfort.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SINGLE VISION AND VARIFOCAL LENSES?Single vision lenses have one prescription that covers the whole lens. They’re typically for people with long or short sight that only need glasses for things like driving, reading or computer work – so they have clear vision for seeing up-close or far away.
Varifocal lenses allow you to see at any distance, because they have different sections for viewing close up and far away and everything in between. So whether you are driving, using a computer, shopping or reading, you can wear one pair of varifocals to accommodate all your vision needs. Sweet.

DO YOU OFFER LIGHT RESPONSIVE LENSES?We offer light responsive lenses starting at an additional $100. These lenses cleverly adapt to light conditions: indoors they are clear but as soon as you step outside into bright, natural light, they darken—ta-da!
Our light responsive lenses have anti-scratch, anti-reflective, and super-clean coatings, and they provide 100% UV protection.
DO YOUR GLASSES OFFER PROTECTION FROM BLUE LIGHT?We offer blue light filtering lenses for an additional $30. These lenses block more blue light than our classic lenses, and they can be selected when adding frames to your cart.
Our blue light lenses filter about 50% of all blue light, and almost 95% of the highest range (up to 420 nm).
If you’re planning on wearing your glasses both indoors and outdoors, we would recommend our light responsive lenses as an alternative. Sunlight is the main source of blue light, and these lenses provide more blue light filtration when exposed to sunlight than blue light filtering lenses. If you’re interested, these lenses cost an additional $100 and can be selected when adding frames to your cart.
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN MY LENSES?To keep your frames and lenses in great shape, always store them in your handmade bloobloom case whenever they’re not on your face.
Cleaning your lenses:
Rinse them in lukewarm water to remove any dust.
Add mild washing-up liquid to the water and rinse again.
Dry them gently (never rub hard) using your boobloom microfibre cloth. For light smudges, the cleansing cloth alone usually does the trick.
You don’t need to bin your microfibre cloth when it gets dirty. Drop it in the washing machine at no more than 40° (without fabric softener) and it’ll come up good as new!
One last tip: Please don’t expose your lenses to high temperatures (such as hot water) or significant changes in temperature as they may develop bubbles or cracks.

CAN I RETURN AN E-GIFT CARD?Our e-gift cards are non-refundable. If you’d like to return a purchase made with an e-gift card, the funds will be credited back to your e-gift card.
E-gift cards cannot be replaced or refunded if stolen. If lost, please email us at love@bloobloom.com and we’ll do our best to help. You will need to provide us with the following information for security purposes:

Purchaser’s full name and email address
Recipient’s full name and email address
Date at which the gift card was emailed to the recipient

HOW DOES THE E-GIFT CARD WORK?It is a virtual version of a physical gift card. It works exactly the same, except it’s delivered via email.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY E-GIFT CARD TO BE EMAILED?When you order an e-gift card, you can select when it will be sent. If you’d like the e-gift card to be sent out the same day, it will be emailed within the hour. Otherwise, your recipient will receive it on the morning of the date you select between 9am and 10am UK time.
It’s important that your frames fit well, both for comfort and correct vision. The following adjustments are simple to make:
The frame is too tight or loose behind your ears
The temples are too long or too short
The temples are too tight or loose at the side of your face
The frame is crooked or slides down your nose
Most optical shops make adjustments for free. If they ask you for a fee, we’ll reimburse you up to $30 for a single adjustment within 30 days of purchase. Just email the bill to love@bloobloom.com and we’ll take care of it!
HOW CAN I FIND MY FRAME’S MEASUREMENTS?You can find these on each product page on our website under SIZE. All our frames (as with other brands) also have their measurements printed on the inside of the temple arm.
We recommend you compare the measurements of your current frame to those on our website to get an idea of how well a pair will fit you.
Because two bloomies are even better than one, you can now choose the price of your second pair of spectacles or sunglasses. Any pair. Yep, you get to choose.
For each PWYC item, we offer three different prices to choose from and we explain exactly what each price option covers. The cheapest price covers our basic production costs – the other prices go towards development and contribute to our Pair for Pair programme .
HOW DO I ACCESS IT?Simply select the lens options for your second pair, then at the final step you choose the price and add to your cart. Pay What You Can is only available if both pairs are purchased at the same time.
WHY ARE YOU DOING IT?Many of you already buy more than one pair of glasses from us. For those who don’t, it’s usually because they cannot afford it.
